Pastor Peter Mohr has been serving Christ the King as pastor since January, 2003. This is Pastor Mohr’s second call, previously serving Trinity Lutheran on Whidbey Island as Youth Pastor.

Pastor Mohr is a graduate of Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN, and Lutheran Bible Institute (now Trinity Lutheran College), Issaquah, WA, and Mt. Vernon High School, Mt. Vernon, WA (GO BULLDOGS!).

Peter and his wife Sarah are blessed with one daughter, Odette, two cats and eleven chickens. Besides chicken farming, Pastor Mohr enjoys playing guitar and piano, drinking breve lattes and reading (quite sick in the head, he enjoys reading theology above all else), listening to music and playing video games, he brews his own beer and bakes his world-famous (not really, but it’s very good) granola and he cherishes long naps. Above all, Pastor Peter has a passion for giving the Kingdom of God away for free to a bunch of sinners like him. In a world with so many strings attached, the message of God’s unconditional love and unqualified welcome of losers and sinners is “The Good News” transforming lives and changing this world.
